PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving apparatus which can reduce degradation of an error rate in the proximity of a decoding-completion time.SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus comprises: a replica signal generating section which generates a replica signal; a metric calculating section which calculates a metric on the basis of a received signal that a signal input section receives and the replica signal; a sequential sequence estimation section which performs sequential sequence estimation by using a tree structure, on the basis of the metric calculated by the metric calculating section; and a termination processing section which extends a node of the tree structure to be used for the estimation by the sequential sequence estimation section, when estimation of data of a data length predetermined by the sequential sequence estimation section was finished, that is, a decoding-completion time has been reached. The sequential sequence estimation section estimates a transmission signal on the basis of the result of the extention performed by the termination processing section. |
