The invention relates to a copolymer comprising a main hydrocarbon chain and side groups including carboxylic groups and polyoxyalkylate groups, characterized in that it further includes gem-bisphosphonate groups, an admixture for suspensions of mineral particles comprising said copolymer and to a method for preparing said copolymer. Finally it relates to the use of said copolymer for fluidifying and maintaining fluid, suspensions of mineral particles and for reducing the sensitivity of hydraulic compositions to clays and alkaline sulfates. Finally it relates to a composition of mineral particles comprising this copolymer.
