The present invention relates to a device for preventing the slip and slide of a railway vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for preventing the slip and slide of a railway vehicle includes: an electromagnet; an operation part which fixates the electromagnet to face a railway at a distance, which moves the electromagnet up and down around one axis to adjust the distance between the electromagnet and the railway, and which rotates the electromagnet around the axis; and a current supply part for supplying a current to the electromagnet. The present invention enables stable driving and braking of a railway vehicle of which the railway has been slipped and slid due to foreign substances such as frost and oil by applying a magnetic field to the railway and increasing the adhesion coefficient of the railway.
