The purpose of the present invention is to provide a parts feeder and a method for manufacturing the same. The parts feeder is capable of: realizing the simplification of the number of parts; changing a position of a work with a relatively short carrying distance; and preventing a decrease in work carrying treatment capacity due to acceleration from a change of a position. The parts feeder (X) has a position changing part (6) in a certain area of a ball carrying path (5) in which a raising gradient having a consistent carrying speed of a work (W) is set, which comprises: a starting end area carrying bottom surface (61); a starting end area changing side surface (62) formed by gradually rotating the starting end area carrying bottom surface (61) around a carrying axis in a certain direction; an intermediate area carrying bottom surface (63) extended from the starting end area carrying bottom surface (61); an intermediate area changing side surface (64) formed by gradually rotating the intermediate area carrying bottom surface (63) around the carrying axis in the same direction as the starting end area changing side surface (62); and a terminal end area carrying bottom surface (65) extended from the intermediate area. The position changing part (X) rotates 90 degrees or more a work (W) which is in contact with the respective surfaces while passing through around the carrying axis. |
