PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of maintaining excellent appearance by blocking leakage of light from an end surface in a display plate.SOLUTION: In a display area 11 provided in a display device 100, a light emission scale portion 16 is provided that performs light emission by emitting light. A display plate 30 of the display device 100 is formed in a plate shape by a light transmissive member, and includes: a plate main body portion 32 that forms the light emission scale portion 16; an incident end portion 34 that causes the light radiated from an edge light type light source 44 to be incident on the plate main body portion 32; and an outer peripheral end portion 35 that is located on an opposite side from the plate main body portion 32 while interposing the plate main body portion 32. A light leakage end surface 36 of the outer peripheral end portion 35 in the display plate 30 is covered by a light shielding ring 70 held by the outer peripheral end portion 35. By the constitution above, leakage of light from the light leakage end surface 36 is blocked by the light shielding ring 70. |
