PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows for guiding light from a variable wavelength filter to a sensor while suppressing a reduction in transmitted light volume using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A spectroscopic optical system includes a projection optical system, a filter unit, optical receiver unit, and a light collection optical system. The projection optical system emits light which contains multiple wavelengths and is parallel light in at least one cross-sectional plane. The filter unit receives the parallel light from the projection optical system and outputs transmitted light whose wavelength changes along a prescribed direction in a plane that is same as the cross-sectional plane. The optical receiver unit is arranged in accordance with the change in wavelength of the transmitted light and has multiple photo-sensitive elements for receiving the transmitted light. The light collection optical system is located between the filter unit and the optical receiver unit, and allows transmitted light of a single wavelength exiting from a prescribed spot in a prescribed direction of the filter unit to be received by at least one photo-sensitive element responsible for the wavelength. |
