PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source body and an illumination device using the light source body which makes uniform the illuminance distribution in a body to be irradiated with outgoing light of a light-emitting element partially having non-light emitting region.SOLUTION: A light emission surface of an LED chip is bisected by an upper electrode extended through the center, a part which becomes a projection part of the upper electrode viewed from the optical axial direction is cut off from a collimate lens of which the optical axis is caused to coincide with the center, thereby, two split bodies which gets to symmetrical to each other are formed and a lens having such a shape that both split bodies are attached to each other is formed. The collimate lens is formed such that the outgoing light on a part adjacent to the projection part of the upper electrode viewed from the optical axis direction is directed into a luminous flux of the outgoing light from the projection part, therefore, the optical amount which is deficient by receiving an effect of the projection part of the upper electrode can be compensated and it can be suppressed that the part on which the optical amount is lowered in the outgoing region of the lens is formed. A part where the optical amount gets to deficient in a photographed image can be removed and a clear photographed image can be obtained. |
