PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an elongated flexible wiring board more reliably, while making a connector more compact.SOLUTION: In a connector 16 for cable, connection end of a flexible wiring board 10 is inserted, while being bent by resisting against an elastic force, into a cable slot until the tip thereof abuts against the positioning end face of an insulator member. Subsequently, the flexible wiring board 10 is released and returned back to the original state by the restoring force of the flexible wiring board 10 itself, and the rim of a pair of notches 103 in the flexible wiring board 10 engage with a pair of projection pieces of a cover member 18. |
