PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a spectral distribution in each pixel constituting an image with high accuracy from an original image signal.SOLUTION: An image processing system 10 includes a reception part 11, a patch generation part 13, a basis generation part 15, a spectral distribution estimation part 17 and a spectral distribution composition part 18. The reception part 11 receives an original image signal. The patch generation part 13 generates sequentially patches. The basis generation part 15 generates a plurality of bases of spectral distributions of each pixel in a patch on the basis of the original image signal as a plurality of spatial spectral bases. The spectral distribution estimation part 17 estimates spectral distribution of each pixel in the patch by linearly connecting the plurality of spatial spectral bases. The spectral distribution composition part 18 composites spectral distributions of pixels on the basis of the spectral distributions of pixels in the patch. |
