PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic tool exchanger of a machine tool that is capable of easily driving holder holding parts of a tool magazine in linkage with a linear motion of a main spindle.SOLUTION: In an automatic tool exchanger, when a main spindle moves linearly in an axial direction, a transfer mechanism moves a follower shaft 35 (a driven member) in a direction alienating from a fulcrum 34 along a guide groove 336 and in a direction approaching the fulcrum 34, in a holder holding part 30. Consequently, a first holder holding member 31 and a second holder holding member 32 oscillate about the fulcrum 34 to switch between an open and a closed state. At this point, the follower shaft 35, in the closed state, is positioned on a virtual straight line connecting a shaft 360 linking the first holder holding member 31 and a first movable member 36, with a shaft 370 linking the second holder holding member 32 and a second movable member 37. |
