PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To initially display an associated moving image associated with a still image when it is assumed to be suitable that the associated moving image can be initially displayed when a reproduction mode is started.SOLUTION: A display control unit includes: recording means for recording a still image and an associated moving image associated with the still image in a recording medium; start image setting means for setting whether a start image which is displayed at first when reproduction of the image is started to be the associated moving image or not; and control means for controlling the associated moving image to be displayed when reproduction of the image is started even when the latest image recorded in the recording medium is not the associated moving image when the start image is set to be the associated moving image in the start image setting means.
