A user terminal pertaining to a first feature supports immediate MDT. Said user terminal is provided with the following: a GNSS receiver for acquiring GNSS location information; a user interface that accepts input from a user; and a control unit that, upon a request from a network to make the GNSS location information available, keeps the GNSS receiver on for the aforementioned immediate MDT as long as the user does not turn the GNSS receiver off.
