The present invention relates to a lighting apparatus for a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the lighting apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a light source which is placed in a vehicle in order to emit light; a reflector where the light source is inserted and fixated and which reflects the light generated by the light source to the front side of the vehicle; a lens which is placed on an optical axis of the light source; a holder whose both sides are open, whose one side is connected with the lens, and whose other side is connected with the reflector, in order to guide both the reflected light reflected from the reflector and the direct light directly emitted from the light source; a rotary shield which is placed to be able to rotate on a rotary shaft, that is, at right angle to the optical axis, and shields part of the direct or reflective light in order to form a previously set rear light pattern; a driving unit which is placed on the external surface of the reflector in order to operate the rotary shield; and a belt type power transmission device which transmits driving power of the driving unit to the rotary shaft of the rotary shield. |
