PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery prevented in corrosion of a positive electrode collector and good in resistance characteristics, even when a water-soluble polymer is used as a binder of a positive electrode active material layer.SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode 30 including a positive electrode active material layer 34; a negative electrode 50 including a negative electrode active material layer 54; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode active material layer 34 includes a positive electrode active material 36, a first binder 37 containing an alginic acid, and a second binder 39 containing a water-soluble polymer other than an alginic acid. The first binder 37 is unevenly located in a region adjacent to a positive electrode collector 32 in the positive electrode active material layer 34, and the second binder 39 is unevenly located in a region on a surface side in the positive electrode active material layer 34. |
