PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial for a timepiece showing an excellent aesthetic appearance with brightness and having appropriate light transmissivity, and a timepiece with a solar cell.SOLUTION: A dial 1 for a timepiece of this invention includes: a dial body 11 having light transmissivity; and a bright layer 12 provided on either front face or rear face of the dial body 11, and configured by bright powder 121 being dispersed in light transmissive resin 122. The bright powder 121 is laminated powder which is configured by laminating a metal oxide film 121b only on one face side of a plate-like base material 121a having light transmissivity, and whose average grain diameter is equal to or greater than 10 μm and equal to or less than 90 μm. |
