PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve connection of a connector without exposing an end face of an optical fiber.SOLUTION: An optical coupling member (10) comprises: an optical fiber (13); a holding member (11) holding the optical fiber (13) inserted into an insertion hole (11a) formed at one end of the holding member; and a plurality of ball lenses (12a, 12b) housed along the direction of the optical axis in a housing part (11c) formed at the other end of the holding member (11). The plurality of ball lenses (12a, 12b) are disposed in contact with each other, while the optical fiber (13) is disposed as separated at a predetermined distance from the ball lens (12a) opposing to the optical fiber. |
