PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assay method for detecting ubiquitination of PINK1 (PTEN-induced putative kinase 1) and a method for screening proteins and compounds which exacerbate ubiquitination of PINK1, by using the assay method.SOLUTION: The assay method for detecting ubiquitination of PINK1 includes bringing PINK1, ubiquitin, SARM1α, and TRAF2 and/or TRAF6 into contact with each other under the existence of an ubiquitin activating enzyme (E1), ubiquitin binding enzyme (E2), and ATP to detect production of a complex of PINK1, ubiquitin, SARM1α, and TRAF2 and/or TRAF6. |
