PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of applying a driving force by pressure fluctuation in a pressure fluctuation part to a diaphragm chamber of a diaphragm type fuel pump and capable of preventing inflow of oil into a communication passage through which the pressure fluctuation is provided to the diaphragm chamber.SOLUTION: A 4-stroke engine 1 includes a piston 9, a carburetor 25, an elastic membrane 127, a first chamber 131 defined in one side of the elastic membrane 127, and a second chamber 129 defined in the other side of the elastic membrane 127. The carburetor 25 includes a diaphragm type fuel pump 109, which includes a diaphragm chamber 110 into which a pressure driving a pump chamber 1108 is supplied, and the pump chamber 1108 suctioning and discharging fuel. The first chamber 131 is communicated with a pressure fluctuation part (for example, cylinder part 3) in which a pressure fluctuates by movement of the piston 9, and the second chamber 129 is communicated with the diaphragm chamber 110. |
