PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of cloud printing.SOLUTION: A host computer 210 converts data to be output, which is transmitted via a network, into data of a data format that can be output by an image output device; and outputs compressed data, which is compressed by compression means 216 by selecting a compression method, together with circuit information data for configuring decompression means to a printer 230 via the network. The printer 230 receives the compressed data and the circuit information data from the host computer 210 by a transmission/reception buffer 232; and a data processing unit 234 decompresses the compressed data using the decompression means that is configured from the circuit information data; and an output control unit 237 performs image output using the decompressed data. |
