PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transducing a foreign gene into a wide range of neurons constituting brain including neurons in brain tissues such as the deep layers of cerebral neocortex, basal nuclei, cerebral limbic system, and cerebellum by a single administration.SOLUTION: A method for transducing a gene into brain neurons comprises administering a recombinant adeno-associated virus into a cerebral ventricle of a mammal.
