The present invention concerns a wheel module for a tyre pressure monitoring system. This module comprises an inflation valve of the "snap in" type and an electronic unit (13) fixed reversibly to the valve. This valve is made of an elastically deformable material and comprises a valve body through which a metal pipe passes to introduce inflation air. The valve body has a first end (112) provided with a screw thread (113) designed to accept a cap and a second end (115) to which a hollow metal fixing rod (12), provided with notches (30), is secured. The electronic unit (13) is slidably mounted on the fixing rod (12) and comprises a means of reversibly immobilizing the position of the unit relative to the valve. According to the invention, the immobilizing means consists of a substantially U-shaped metal wire (20) a first end and a second end (202, 203) of which are inserted under retaining lugs (204, 206) produced on this same face (15) of the unit. This metal wire (20) is designed to be inserted into the notches (30) of the fixing rod (12) to apply to the unit a restraining force (C) designed to fix the unit in position relative to the valve. |
