A data transmission device provided with: an output unit for outputting data to a bus, the output unit making a determination, on the basis of the results of communication mediation obtained using priority information imparted to the data to be outputted to the bus by the output unit itself, as to whether or not data is to be outputted to the bus between other conflicting data being outputted to the bus; a storage unit in which has been set a plurality of areas from an area having a high degree of area priority to an area having a low degree of area priority; and a distribution unit for writing requested-for-transmission data to those areas in the storage unit that have higher degrees of area priority in correspondence with an increase in the degree of priority of the priority information imparted to the data. The output unit, in outputting the data stored in the plurality of areas to the bus, gives priority to data stored in the areas that have higher degrees of area priority. |
