This copper alloy trolley wire contains, by mass, 0.12% to 0.40% of Co, 0.040% to 0.16% of P, and 0.005% to 0.70% of Sn, with the remainder made up by Cu and unavoidable impurities. The average particle diameter is equal to or greater than 10 nm. The number of precipitates having a particle diameter equal to or greater than 5 nm is no less than 90% of all observed precipitates. Where (TS0) represents the initial tensile strength and (TS1) represents the tensile strength after being maintained at 400°C for 2 hours, the heat resistance (HR) defined by HR = TS1/TS0 × 100 is no less than 90%. |
