Provided are a transmission method and device for an enhanced physical downlink control channel. A method comprises: according to the mapping relationship between a first resource group and a pilot port, determining the correlation of a second resource group of a first type and a second type respective with the first resource group and the pilot port in accordance with a specific relationship; and determining the second resource group of the first type or the second type which transmits an E-PDCCH, and according to the determined correlation mentioned above, mapping the second resource group of the first type or the second type which transmits the E-PDCCH to at least one first resource group and the pilot port for transmission. The technical solution of the present invention solves the problem of E-PDCCH transmission.
