METHOD FOR FEEDING BACK CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION AND USER EQUIPMENT

A method for feeding back channel state information and a user equipment. According to the number of ports of a CSI-RS and a pmi-RI-Report parameter configured at a base station side, a user equipment determines the feedback manner of channel state information to be one of the following: PMI, RI and CQI feedback; RI and CQI feedback; and CQI feedback. The above technical solution supports the switching of three feedback manner types, and can improve the flexibility and performance of the system and reduce the feedback overhead.
