The present invention relates to a device for utilizing waste heat of a vehicle and a method for utilizing the same, and more specifically, to a device for utilizing waste heat of a vehicle and a method for utilizing the same wherein a plurality of heat storage units is provided so as to be attached to or detached from a conveying means, and after waste heat generated at the conveying means is stored, the heat storage units in which the waste heat is stored are moved and provided to places in order to use the heat. Therefore, heat energy can be variously used according to the purpose and the time of heat demands at the places to use the heat through the heat storage units. In addition, used heat storage units are provided to the conveying means so as to be used again after re-charging.
