PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel steering device capable of attaining an automatic fail-safe function capable of surely and automatically securing safety and reliability with a simpler configuration.SOLUTION: A vessel steering device includes: first and second electric motors 18 and 19; first and second liquid pumps 16 and 17 which are connected to the first and second electric motors 18 and 19, respectively, and include respective first and second discharge ports 16a and 16b discharging liquid in both directions; and first and second double acting cylinders 12 and 13 connected to a rudder to be steered. The first discharge port 16a of the first liquid pump 16 is communicated with a first operation chamber 12a of the first double acting cylinder 12 and a second operation chamber 13b of the second double acting cylinder 13. The second discharge port 16b of the first liquid pump 16 is communicated with a second operation chamber 12b of the first double acting cylinder 12 and a first operation chamber 13a of the second double acting cylinder 13. The second liquid pump 17 also has the same configuration.
