PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system having a first storage battery and a second storage battery connected in parallel with each other which suppresses trouble in the case of reverse connection of the storage batteries.SOLUTION: The power system includes: a lead storage battery 12 and a lithium ion storage battery 13 connected in parallel with each other; MOS switches 21, 22 and SMR switches 23, 24 disposed in a feeder 17 electrically connecting both storage batteries to switch both storage batteries on and off; and a discharge circuit 40 connected to a gate of the SMR switch 24 to electrically discharge a parasitic capacitance formed in the SMR switch 24. The discharge circuit 40 is connected to a position of the feeder 17 where a voltage is applied in the opposite polarity in the case of reverse connection of the lead storage battery 12 to that in the case of normal connection and to the gate of the SMR switch 24, and is configured to enter a discharge state to electrically discharge the parasitic capacitance upon the opposite polarity of voltage. |
