The present invention relates to a mixed cathode active material having improved output characteristics and a lithium secondary battery including the same, and more specifically, to: a mixed cathode active material wherein by using LFP (LMFP) in which a part of Fe in LFP is replaced with other elements such as Mn for preventing a rapid voltage drop in a transient region if a lithium transition metal oxide in a layered structure blends with a lithium oxide (for example, LFP) in an olivine structure, a difference in operating voltages with the lithium transition metal oxide in the layered structure can be reduced and ultimately an output decrease in a transient region can be minimized; and a lithium secondary battery including the same.
