PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control device in which after power supply to a printing device is stopped, and thereafter power supply is resumed, a power supply state is automatically shifted to a power supply state adapted to a power supply state before the power supply is stopped.SOLUTION: A control method for a print control device which controls an engine performing print processing, includes a notification step in which when power supply to an engine is resumed, a power supply state to which the engine should shift after the power supply is resumed is notified to the engine in accordance with a state to which it shifted before stoppage of power supply to an engine stored in storage means. |
