PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an undulation of a lens surface while eliminating polishing for a surface to be cut from a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing lens includes: a cutting process for cutting at least one surface of a lens base material; an attaching process for attaching a predetermined coating liquid to at least a partial area of a cut surface to be cut; a pressing process which expands the coating liquid attached to the surface to be cut between the surface to be cut and the lens molding surface without a gap by pressing the lens molding surface formed in a predetermined mold to the surface to be cut; and a curing process for curing the coating liquid expanded to an entire area of the surface to be cut.
