PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate integrated with a viewing angle compensation film to be used in an IPS-LCD filled with a liquid crystal having positive dielectric anisotropy (&Dgr;&egr;>0), and an IPS-LCD including the polarizing plate, and more particularly, to provide an integrated polarizing plate using a viewing angle compensation film as a protective film for a polarizing film constituting the polarizing plate, achieving reduction in the thickness of the polarizing plate and securing a good viewing angle, and an IPS-LCD employing the above polarizing plate in a display device.SOLUTION: The polarizing plate as an aspect of the present invention integrally includes a polarizing film, a protective film attached to one surface of the polarizing film, and a +A plate which is coated with a +C plate in the form of a liquid crystal and is attached to the other surface of the polarizing film to the surface where the protective film is attached. |
