PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system for allowing a user to intuitively specify a gaze position of the user browsing a screen of a display and detecting the position on the screen specified by the user so as to provide information depending on the position to the user.SOLUTION: The information distribution system comprises: a storage device in which information having a hierarchic structure is stored; a computer having a distribution unit for distributing the information; a display for displaying the information distributed by the computer; and a portable communication apparatus for communicating with the computer. The portable communication apparatus includes an imaging unit for imaging a part of the information displayed on the display and a transmission unit for transmitting the imaged image to the computer. The computer includes a reading unit for, on the basis of the image transmitted from the portable communication apparatus, reading the information having the hierarchic structure from the storage device and a transmission unit for transmitting the read information to the portable communication apparatus. |
