PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease image density unevenness, while realizing lower stress on developer, in a region on an upstream side of a regulation position by a developer restricting member.SOLUTION: A magnet roller 147 comprises an N2 pole and an N3 pole of the same polarity mutually adjacent to each other, for generating magnetic force for separating developer from a developing sleeve 141, after the developer passes through a developing region. A doctor auxiliary member 146b is fixed to a doctor blade 146, and a magnetic pole facing surface 146b1 of the doctor auxiliary member is disposed outside an outer circumference face of the developing sleeve on an upstream side, with respect to the doctor blade so that the magnetic pole facing surface 146b1 faces the N3 pole over development effective width. |
