PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement accurate clock synchronization processing in a communication device.SOLUTION: A communication device comprises: a data processing unit for executing clock synchronization processing between the communication device and a communication partner device; and a communication unit for executing communication with the communication partner device. In performing clock synchronization processing having transmission/reception of synchronization packets with the communication partner device; the data processing unit compares an offset window specifying an allowable delay time range of packets applied to the synchronization processing with network delay time of synchronization packets, selects a synchronization packet whose network delay time is within the offset window, and executes phase control by applying phase difference information calculated from the selected synchronization packet. The data processing unit executes offset window width update processing which decreases width of the offset window when network delay time of a synchronization packet is within the offset window at the present time, and increases the width of the offset window when the network delay time of the synchronization packet is not within the offset window at the present time.
