In the solar battery 100, an end part power generation region Rsc in which the collector electrode is not disposed and a PN junction is included is formed outside the current-collecting region Rmc so that carriers generated as an electron-positive hole pair in the end part power generation region are collected by the collector electrode in the current collecting region via a bypass route.
