PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve: a solar battery capable of efficiently performing current collection at the periphery part of a solar battery substrate without changing the locations of an n-type electrode and a p-type electrode on the solar battery substrate; a method for manufacturing the solar battery; and a solar battery panel using the solar battery as a solar battery cell.SOLUTION: A solar battery 100 includes, on the rear surface of an n-type silicon substrate 101a having a substantially square shape, a current collecting region Rmc where a plurality of wide-width band-like ptype semiconductor regions 111 collecting positive holes and a plurality of narrow-width band-like ntype semiconductor regions 121 collecting electrons are alternately arranged so that an ntype semiconductor region 121a is located at both ends of the n-type silicon substrate 101a, while a collector electrode is disposed on each semiconductor region. In the solar battery 100, an end part power generation region Rsc in which the collector electrode is not disposed and a PN junction is included is formed outside the current-collecting region Rmc so that carriers generated as an electron-positive hole pair in the end part power generation region are collected by the collector electrode in the current collecting region via a bypass route. |
