PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control box and a sewing machine capable of suppressing intrusion of dust and the like into the inside, and capable of easily connecting a harness electrically connected to a sewing machine body, to a connector on a circuit board which is accommodated inside without touching the circuit board by an operator.SOLUTION: A control box 500 is provided on a lower face of a sewing machine table 20 on the upper surface of which a sewing machine body 100 is erected. The control box 500 includes: an under cover 200 covering the lower face of the sewing machine table 20; a box cover 400 covering the lower face of the under cover 200; and a holding member 600 provided on the back side of the box cover 400. A connector 350 held by the holding member 600 is electrically connected to a circuit board accommodated inside the control box 500. The holding member 600 is exposed to the outside of the box cover 400. Accordingly, a harness part 104 electrically connected to the sewing machine body 100 can be mounted on the connector 350 from the outside of the box cover 400. |
