<p>A single-mode continuously tunable optical filter (600), where the primary technical feature thereof is that: two transmission frequency-tunable Fabry-Pérot filters (400 and 500) in a rear/front-opposite arrangement are comprised, when the free spectral range of the first transmission frequency-tunable Fabry-Pérot filter (400) is spaced away at a certain interval from the intrinsic free spectral range of the second transmission frequency-tunable Fabry-Pérot filter (500), the characteristic of tunable transmission frequencies of the two transmission frequency-tunable Fabry-Pérot filters (400 and 500) is utilized to implement tunable single-mode output within a certain spectral range. A single-mode continuously tunable optical filter (600) is rationally designed, has the characteristics of having no mechanical moving parts, being stable and reliable in performance, a simplified structure, reduced costs, a reduced size, and being easy to install and manufacture, satisfies requirements for reduced size and reliable operation in extreme operating conditions, and has broad applications in other fields such as lasers, optical tests, fiber-optic communications, biology, medical devices, and fiber-optic sensor networks.</p> |
