PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indexing device of a machine tool capable of efficiently transmitting heat generated during working of a motor to a case storing the motor of the indexing device and a method for manufacturing the indexing device of the machine tool.SOLUTION: An indexing device of a machine tool has a structure in which a motor M having a rotary table 11 for mounting a workpiece thereon mounted in a shaft 10 is stored in a case 13 storing the motor M. A material having higher heat conductivity than air is filled in a gap space 15 formed between the case 13 storing the motor M and a case 14 of the motor M, thereby facilitating heat radiation of heat generated in the motor M to the outside of the indexing device via the case 14 of the motor M, the material with high heat conductivity filled in the gap space 15 and the case 13 storing the motor M and effectively suppressing a temperature rise of the motor M. Accordingly, an effect of increasing a continuous rating output of the motor M is provided. |
