PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ESD protection circuit that allows easily setting a shunt-operation starting voltage to ESD and preventing a rush current at the time of power-on.SOLUTION: A bias circuit is connected between a first power-supply terminal and a second power-supply terminal. The bias circuit supplies a clamp voltage, which is set to be higher than a normal power-supply voltage (VDD), to a bias terminal during ESD operation. The bias terminal is connected to an input of an inverter circuit. The inverter circuit supplies a high/low output to a shunt transistor according to a voltage at the bias terminal and a voltage at the first power-supply terminal to control the conduction. |
