PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable information terminal performing a voice call to easily register personal information of a call partner.SOLUTION: A portable information terminal 1 controls a voice call by a voice call control unit 131. A mail transmission and reception unit 132 transmits and receives mails. When the mail transmission and reception unit 132 receives an MMS mail while the voice call control unit 131 performs a voice call, a state management unit 10 determines whether a telephone number included in the received MMS mail matches a telephone number of the call partner, and when the telephone numbers match each other, stores attribute information of the call partner included in the MMS mail in association with the telephone number of the call partner in a telephone directory data recording unit 161. |
