PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio which reduces a space for mounting an antenna, and to provide a manufacturing method of the portable radio.SOLUTION: A portable radio 10 of this invention is a portable radio having an integrated structure. The portable radio 10 includes: a first substrate 13 having a first conductor 14; a second substrate 16 having a second conductor 17; and a connection part 15 which electrically connects the first conductor 14 with the second conductor 17 in the housing 11. The second conductor 17 is disposed in the housing 11 being separated from the first conductor 14. The first conductor 14 and the second conductor 17 function as a pair of radiation elements of a dipole antenna 12, and the connection part 15 functions as a feeder cable of the dipole antenna 12.
