PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of stably cooling a plurality of sheets sequentially passing through a fixing unit, while reducing a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A guide part 70 is provided on the downstream side from a fixing unit 13 in a conveyance direction in a housing 2. A pair of rollers 31 and 32 are provided in the middle of the guide part 70 in the conveyance direction in the housing 2 and have a nip point N1, to convey a sheet 99. An opening 2B is provided on the downstream side from the pair of rollers 31 and 32 in the conveyance direction and communicates the inside and outside of the housing 2. A heat radiation chamber 91 is provided in at least one of the pair of rollers 31 and 32 in the housing 2 and surrounded by the side opposite to the nip point N across a rotation shaft 31A of at least one of the pair of rollers 31 and 32 and the guide part 70, to radiate the heat of at least one of the pair of rollers 31 and 32. A communication path 80 communicating the heat radiation chamber 91 with the opening 2B in the conveyance direction, to form a flow path of air is provided between the heat radiation chamber 91 and the opening 2B. |
