A data processing device that notifies an operator of error factors, on the basis of determination results from a factor determination unit (103b), and comprises: a factor storage unit (12b) that associates factors, predetermined as affecting the measurement precision of each of a plurality of measurement items, to each measurement item, and stores same; an error determination unit (103a) that determines the existence of errors in measurement values for the measurement items, on the basis of an approximation formula stored in an approximation formula storage unit (12a) and on the basis of parameters for the approximation formula; and the factor determination unit (103b) that browses the determination results of the error determination unit (103a) in a preset order and, if a determination has been made that a plurality of measurement values in succession are errors, for the same measurement item, determines the factor stored in the factor storage unit (12b) corresponding to that measurement item to be an error factor. As a result, reduction in measurement precision can be suppressed by the detection of measurement result errors and the identification of causal factors. |
