PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device which can easily reduce friction between an expansion body of an airbag and other objects.SOLUTION: An airbag device comprises: an airbag; a module cover which covers the airbag; a woven fabric 10 for preventing contact between hinge parts of the module cover and an expansion body of the airbag by its flap parts 11, 12; and a retainer which holds the woven fabric 10. The woven fabric 10 has a seam 13 which tears apart when the airbag expands and flap parts 11, 12 which are formed by the tearing of the seam 13. The seam 13 has main slits 14b that are adjacently arranged and sub-slits 14a, 14c for breaking weaving threads running in gaps 15 between the main slits 14b. |
