PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe installation apparatus in which, when a pipe is moved forward underground, a rear end of the pipe left in a departure part can be prevented from moving in a direction crossing a central axis of the pipe, and a forward moving direction of the pipe moving underground can be stabilized.SOLUTION: In the pipe installation apparatus, an excavator 26 is installed closer to an opening in a distal end of a pipe 2, the pipe 2 is pushed from a departure part, and the ground is excavated by the excavator 26, such that the pipe is propelled and installed underground. The pipe installation apparatus comprises: a guide stage 90 including a guide surface 91 for guiding the pipe 2 to a departure hole of the departure part; and pipe rear end movement regulation means which regulates a rear end 6e of the pipe 2 which is left in the departure part after the distal end of the pipe 2 is pushed through the departure hole into the ground, from moving in a direction crossing a centerline of the pipe 2. |
