PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device which can improve throughput in wireless communication and ensure real time performance when CAN data communicated between CAN nodes is relayed via a wireless network.SOLUTION: A relay device 21 (23) is provided corresponding to each of CAN node 11 (13) to be a transmission source and CAN node 13 (11) to be a reception destination and relays CAN data communicated between the CAN nodes 11, 13 via a wireless network 10 constructed with the other relay device 23 (21). The relay device 21 (23) stores the CAN data to be wirelessly transmitted of received CAN data in a buffer, and at a predetermined wireless transmission timing of the relay device 21 (23): transmits, when the CAN data stored in the buffer is single data, the single CAN data to the other relay device 23 (21); and aggregates, when a plurality of CAN data are stored in the buffer, the plurality of CAN data for collectively transmitting to the other relay device 23 (21). |
