PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device, a display system, and a program which can properly display an electronic content while inhibiting unauthorized use of the electronic content.SOLUTION: A terminal device 1 displays a rental content received from a server 6 when the terminal device 1 is in a communicable range RC of a proximity radio antenna sheet 3 which performs radio communication in a proximity distance, and does not display the rental content received from the server 6 when the terminal device 1 is out of the communicable range RC.
