PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when an operator inputs instructions for a plurality of items more than before, in terms of both the number of operations and contents of operations.SOLUTION: An instruction input device 200 includes: a display unit 473 that has a touch panel part 4731; a display control unit 101 that causes the display unit 473 to display an image for instruction reception; and an instruction receiving unit 102 that receives an input start instruction and paper feed cassette designation via the touch panel part 4731 on the basis of a contact operation by an operator to a display position of an image of a paper feed cassette on the display unit 473, subsequently receives input of a job content designation instruction on the basis of a slide operation while a contact state from a contact position to a display position of a job content reception image is maintained, and further receives an input completion instruction and an ejection tray designation on the basis of a slide operation while a contact state from a contact position of the job content reception image to a display position of an image of the ejection tray is continuously maintained.
