PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a spatter defect by restraining a spatter from being fixed and accumulated on a welder and its peripheral equipment.SOLUTION: A welding spatter removal apparatus removes a welding spatter produced from a welding location, when two steel plates are welded together. The welding spatter removal apparatus includes a nozzle 11 which has a gas jet axis directed toward the welding location and set parallel to a steel plate surface, and a gas suction device 20 which sucks in the welding spatter blown off by gas from the nozzle 11. In addition, the gas is also issued in the same direction from an auxiliary nozzle 12 arranged above the nozzle 11. |
